USAGE & APPLICABILITY
The fluid extractor pump is designed to be chemical and oil resistant. Remove mechanical liluids on ATVs, automobiles, boats, cars, trucks, RVs, lawn mowers, golf carts and other vehicles. Suitable for brake fluid/coolant/gear oil/oil/hydraulic system/water /power steering fluid and other liquids.

PlEASE NOTE:
NOT fit for Gasoline - as it may easy to leak!
NOT fit for Corrosive liquids - such as salt water etc!

TIPS FOR USE:
1. You can remove the hose easily if you need to change or replace it or just want to remove it for storage. The way you do it is you pull back on the blue plastic collar that the hose inserts into. It's spring loaded and it will move slightly and, when it does, the hose can be pulled out easily by pulling back, it may not be obvious and some people are going to tug like crazy to get the hose out.
2. This can be used to pump liquids rather than just suck liquids. Being translucent plastic really helps in the fluid removal or injection process.
3. The extension tubes attach and remove easily, so you do not cross contaminate different fluids (such as oil and antifreeze). Each tube has a rubber cap to prevent dripping-at-rest when you are cleaning up the tool.
4. There is a small amount of lubricating oil in the syringe to help the pulling & pushing. You should clean out the tool after you use it on any fluids that can attack o-rings over time. It disassembles easily for cleanup with towels and then a bit of soapy water. Don't spray clean the components with strong petroleum cleaners like brake or throttle chemicals! This model has good internal seals/o-rings that can be future serviceable.
5. Remember when using a suction tool like this, to guard your work area (like under the hood of the car) against drips when you manipulate the tool while fluid is in the straw tube; IT WILL DROOL OUT. That is just a physical gravity-vs-air pressure reality, with suction tubing of useful diameter, and various viscous liquids.
6. If liquid leakage occurs, you need toconsider whether the hose is installed, and you can re-adjust and re-insert the tube.
